This is a short USB-C to USB-C cable that carries both data and power. You can use this cable to sync and charge your mobile devices with USB-C connector. With the length of approximately 27 cm, it is perfect for a small footprint setup and easy to carry around.
USB-C is the new standard for USB connector. It is targeted to replace all other existing USB connectors (Mini-B, Micro-B, Type A etc.) making it a single USB connector for all. The Type-C receptacle is smaller than the standard A and it is symmetrical. It means, unlike existing USB connectors, you do not have to worry about plugging it upside down as it is reversible and can work both ways. Manufacturers are slowly making transition to the USB-C and you can find it in a lot of newer digital devices such as mobile phones, tablets and laptops. The Raspberry Pi started to use USB-C for power connector on its Pi 4 Model B board.
