Fast Charging technology is a must-have feature in today's mobile phones as they come bigger capacity battery. A standard USB port typically outputs 5V and 0.5-2.5A. Fast Charging protocol boosts the voltage and/or current to a higher value to fill up the battery quicker.
This module supports various fast charging protocols including QC2.0, QC3.0, Huawei FCP, Mediatek PE 2.0 and BC1.2. It is small enough to be embedded anywhere, including in a car. There are two input leads clearly marked with + and - on the board. This is a buck controller module, so make sure that the input voltage is higher than the charging voltage supported by your device.
Don't worry if your device does not support fast charging. This module is still capable of doing normal powering or charging.
