This switch is designed to be placed on a floor and to be operated by user's foot. By using feet to control, two hands are free to perform other tasks. A foot switch is also helpful in pandemic situation where hand contact need to be minimized as much as possible.

This foot switch needs around 1kg of actuation force from the front end of a single foot. There is an audible "click" when pressed. The body is mostly made of plastics with a metal base and anti-slip rubber underneath to prevent movement during operation.
