This is a 2-in-1 keyboard with a touchpad in a compact package. The size is about the same as your regular TV remote. It's really tiny! It comes with a USB transceiver and uses 2.4GHz wireless communication with 10 meters range. We choose it as our favourite keyboard for single board computers such as Raspberry Pi or Beaglebone Black - it's portable, wireless and occupy only one USB port instead of two when using the traditional wired mouse and keyboard.
It works great during presentation or in a lecture with large screen or projector. It can also be used with an Internet television or XBMC media center system where you can control it from your couch. The keyboard has most of media player control keys such as play/pause, previous, next, vol. up, vol. down, mute etc.
The keyboard is powered by two AAA batteries (not included). There are page up/down scroll buttons on one side. On the other side there is a ON/OFF slide switch so that you can conserve the batteries when not in use. There are 2 LED indicators. One is to indicate when RF signal is transmitted. The other LED is lit when the caps lock key is on.
The touchpad on the right side of the keyboard works similar with the one that you can find on laptops. You can change the orientation of the touchpad so that you can use it vertically - just like your regular remote control.
No driver is required to use this keyboard in Windows platform as well as Mac and Linux.
