Ultraviolet (UV) LED is a special purpose LED that has many applications in real world such as currency authentication, postage stamps and passport anti-counterfeiting and organic matter detection in forensic equipments.
These are UV purple LEDs with two leads - positive and negative. The lenses are clear. They are great on PCB. They go easily into a breadboard as well. Each pack has 10 LEDs.
