This USB to UART module allows you to connect from a computer to an Odroid board via console mode. This is especially useful for development and debugging. This module uses CP2104 USB to UART bridge chip with 1.8V~3.3V working voltage.
This kit is designed specifically for Odroid board with matching Molex connector that you can find on Odroid-C1+/C2/C4/N2/XU4. A USB to micro USB cable is included for connection to a Windows/Linux/Mac OS computer.
If you are using Windows, you can use program like Putty to make a serial connection to your Odroid. Check which COM port the cable is connected to in Device Manager and open a new Serial connection in Putty and change the speed (baud rate) to 115200. Open the connection and a new window will appear. Hit 'Enter' and you will be connected to the Odroid board.
