Looking to supply power from a USB power source directly to power pin header on your board? This cable comes in handy. On one end is the standard USB Type A male connector and the other end is 2-pin cable with 2.54mm pitch female connector. We use this cable when we want to power our Raspberry Pi from a power bank.
Take note that the standard USB voltage is 5V DC and this cable can support up to 3A current. Be careful when you are using this cable, make sure that you are connecting it to the correct power pin. Your board can be damaged if you are connecting it to the wrong pins.
The 2 wires follow the standard colour coding:
The cable length is approximately 27 cm.
