This is a compact, good quality USB port power supply/adapter. Not only you can use it to power your project board that needs 5V, it can also charge USB mobile devices.
We specifically choose this power supply because of its rated output current of 2A which is good enough for most power hungry devices. The output voltage is rated as 5.35V, but from our test, it can output at around 5.2V after losses due to the cable resistance, which is still within the allowed USB voltage specification. This power supply is tested to work well with Raspberry Pi and BeagleBone Black boards.
The input voltage is rated as 100V-240V AC. This covers almost all countries in the world. The adapter comes with 2-pin EU plug. It shouldn't be a problem to use it with 3-pin wall socket if you have an appropriate adapter. USB cable is not included but you can find them in our store if you need one.
