USB-C is set to be the standard connector that supersedes all other types of USB connectors. It is a compact and reversible type of connector.
Due to the compact size, the pins on USB-C connector are tiny and difficult to use in a DIY or prototype project especially when it is involving hand soldering. This breakout board is handy because it provides access to four pins of the connector that you can use for USB 2.0/1.1 configuration for power and data.
If you want to make a custom USB-C male wire for your project, this breakout board is for you. As simple as it is, this board breaks out only 4 pins of the USB connector into more manageable soldering pads. The pads are labelled as G, D+, D- and V on the PCB. The board measures 16 mm x 8 mm including the connector.
