This device measures voltage from a DC source and display the value on a 3 digits 7-segment display. It is housed in a black plastic enclosure which has special tabs for panel mounting. It can be used for keeping track voltage for batteries or solar panels.
This voltmeter can measure from 4V and up to 30V - good enough for most electronic projects. The two-wire lead is at the back. It can be detached easily for more flexibility when you do the wiring. To use, simply connect the red wire to positive voltage and black wire to the ground. Reverse voltage protection is built-in, so you do not have to worry if you connect the wires wrongly.
The dimension of this voltmeter is 48 x 29 x 22mm. To mount it to a box/housing/enclosure, you need to make a rectangular opening of 45.5 x 26.5 mm dimension. Then just insert the voltmeter in.
