Organic Light-emitting Diode or OLED is a display technology that can produce brighter and crisper output and uses less power compared to the common LCD or LED display. OLEDs have made inroads in many portable consumer devices.
OLED pixels emit light by themselves. It doesn't need backlight. Therefore, it can display deep, true black colour and generally thinner and lighter than the conventional LCDs. OLED display usually has a wide viewing angle, high contrast and low power consumption.
This is a monochrome OLED display module with I2C interface using 0x3C as the address. There are 4 pins for connection to microcontroller. Only 2 input/output pins are needed. It can work with 3.3V to 5V which is perfect for most microcontrollers.
This small display is great for embedding indicators or status display for your project. The pixels are in blue or white colour. We will send them randomly.
