A standoff is used to raise a circuit board when putting it in an enclosure or as a separator joining two parts but at the same time keeping them from touching each other.
We have here a pack-of-4 nylon hex standoff, male-female type. The standoffs have a threaded hole on one end and threaded stud on the other. You can stack them together. The thread size is M2.5, it fits other M2.5 screws or nuts. The body is in hexagonal shape and you can choose from different body length for your need.
Nylon fasteners have several advantages compared to copper, brass or other metal fasteners. They are lighter, non-conductive and non-corrosive.
