This cable comes in handy when you are using your own power supply or buck/boost converter to power any device with micro USB jack. On one end is the standard micro USB male connector and the other end is two bare wires. You can solder these wires freely to a PCB or other connector.
Red = +5V DC (VCC)
Black = Ground (GND)
The D+ and D- connections from the micro USB are shorted.
This cable is only for power/charge and not for data transfer/sync.
