Micro USB connector is widely used in many consumer devices for power or data interface. It's tiny and doesn't take up much space. It has become so popular that you can find compatible cables easily.
If you want to add a micro USB port to your project but do not want to deal with soldering the tiny connector, this breakout board is for you. As simple as it is, this board breaks out all 5 pins of the female micro USB connector into more manageable 2.54mm pitch soldering holes. You can then solder a 5-pin header to plug into a breadboard or solder wires directly to the holes.
The board measures 15mm x 13mm not including the connector. All connections are labelled on the PCB. There are two M2.5 mounting holes for you to mount this breakout board.
