Use this bright red matrix LED to add a nice visual effect to your project.
This is a 8x8 red LED matrix board driven by a MAX7219 chip. On it's own, a matrix LED board has a lot of pins and it is difficult to control with a limited number of pins on a microcontroller. With the help of MAX7219 driver chip, this fully assembled module uses only 3 control pins (DIN, CS and CLK).
This module can be daisy-chained. You can link more than one modules to make up a larger display area.
A stirip of 5 jumper wires is included in the package so that you can connect the module right-away.
