Once you are done bringing your idea on a schematic to reality using a solderless breadboard, you might want to move it to something more permanent. For this, you can use a perforated board or commonly known as perfboard.
A perfboard is a board with perforated holes surrounded by metal pads. You can securely solder components to these pads making more sturdy connections.
This is a large 9 cm x 15 cm perfboard with a total of 1440 holes arranged in a 48x30 matrix. The board has the standard 2.54mm (or 0.1") spacing between holes, suitable with many through-hole components. There are metal pads on one side of the board, so you can solder your components on one side of the board only. Each hole is electrically isolated from the other holes.
The board has mounting holes on all four corners. There are also extra solder pads on the sides.
