Product Details

Use this butt connector to connect two wires with a strong and long lasting connection. No soldering required. The two wires are connected and held together by crimping a metal piece inside the tubing. The outer part of the connector is heat-shrinkable to further seal and protect the contacts from outside elements. This type of connector is commonly used in automotive applications.

We have different sizes that you can choose according to the size of your wires.


Steps to use:

  1. Strip the first wire and insert it half way into the tubing
  2. Crimp that half using a crimp tool
  3. Repeat the same process with the second wire and the other half of the tubing
  4. Check and make sure that the wires are strongly secured
  5. Heat the outer part of the tube to seal the connector. Using a heat gun is preferable but a lighter or a hot soldering iron will do the job as well

  • Operating temperature: -55 °C ~ +125 °C
  • Start shrink temperature: 80 °C
  • Complete shrink temperature: 130 °C
