A Digital Contact Card is a physical card that you can use to share and transfer your contact data digitally to another person's mobile phone with just a tap. The sharing is done instantly in real-time and once done, you can re-use the same card over and over again with a different person.
How Does It Work?
The card has an embedded NFC chip (NTAG216) inside which NFC-enabled phones can read. You can encode the card with a URL that points to your profile page at providers* such as Linktree, HiHello, Beacons and Carrd. Alternatively, you can also encode the card directly to your social media page, online store, messaging app and many more. When another person tap their NFC-enabled mobile phone to your card, your profile page will show up instantly and they can save your contact information to their phone if they want to.

How Do I Write to the card?
You need an NFC-enable mobile phone and download one of many NFC Writer apps available. Among the recommended apps* are NXP Tag Writer and NFC Tools. Both apps are available on Android's Google Play and Apple's App Store. This card is compatible all NFC-enabled mobile phone running both Android and iOS.

The Design
The card is made of PVC material (hard plastic) and of a standard size, weight and thickness of a normal credit card. It is waterproof and more flexible and durable than the traditional paper card. The card features a modern and less-conventional vertical (portrait orientation) design and printed on both sides. The background is black matte. There is a 'NFC contactless' logo on top left on both sides to indicate that this is an NFC-enabled card. On one side, there is a big and shiny 'hello!' word (a universally-recognized greeting) in contrast colour. 'Digital Contact Card' is also printed on this side to indicate what the card is. On the flip side, you can see an 'NFC tapping' logo and a bilingual instruction on how to use the card.
