
The newer Raspberry Pi boards (Raspberry Pi 3, Pi 2, Model A+, and Model B+) has a 3.5mm jack which can output both composite video and audio signal. This means you can utilise an older TV that can accept only composite input and not HDMI capable.
This cable turns signal from the 3.5mm jack to three RCA male connectors for video, left stereo audio and right stereo audio. Some similar cables in the market are not suitable for the Raspberry Pi because of the different connector layout. This cable includes a small 3.5mm adapter to ensure that the cable works properly.

Take note that the older Raspberry Pi Model A and B has an RCA connector for composite output hence you can use the regular RCA cable.
