Both mouse and keyboard share a single 2.4 GHz wireless receiver, so only one USB port is needed. They behave like standard keyboard and mouse, so no additional driver is needed for your system. Both uses a single AA (mouse) or AAA battery (keyboard) which could last for almost a year.
Note: If you experience mouse lagging or unresponsive under Raspbian (Raspberry Pi), edit file /boot/cmdline.txt and append usbhid.mousepoll=0 at the end of the line after a single space. Save the file and reboot after that.
