This is a 2x20 specialty header with male pins (2.54mm pitch). Overall, this header is 11 mm tall with 6 mm tall for the pins on one end, 3 mm on the other end and 2 mm tall for the plastic spacer in the middle. The plastic spacer is colour coded according to the the functions of GPIO pins. This makes it easier when making connection without having to constantly check the pin's function.
