This module lets you stream audio wirelessly to your regular speaker! You can stream audio from a Bluetooth capable media player like a mobile phone, laptop etc. to speakers with AUX input. This module can be powered by a micro USB power source (USB plug, powerbank etc.). Alternatively, you can also solder an external 3.7V - 5V power source to the on-board power pad. There is a 3.5mm audio jack for plug-and-play connection to speakers. There are also solder pads that you can use for connection to a speaker.
To use it, connect your speaker to the 3.5mm audio jack on the module. As soon as you connect the power supply, the blue LED indicator will turn on and you will hear "The bluetooth device is ready to pair" from the speaker. This means it is waiting for Bluetooth pairing from your device. Do a BT scan from your device and connect to "XY_BT" which is this module's device name. When successfully paired, you will hear "The bluetooth device is connected successfully". Then you can start streaming audio wirelessly to the speaker.
The dimension of this module is only 30mm x 30mm, small enough to be embedded in a case. It supports stereo output over Bluetooth 4.1 and automatic paring.
