This case is an economical and simple yet functional case for Raspberry Pi 4. It is made of three-piece of ABS plastic; the top, the middle and bottom. To install, just place the Pi board on the base panel and then snap together the middle and the top panels. No screws are required. The bottom panel has anti-slip rubber feet at the corners. The main portion of this panel is perforated for better airflow. There are two mounting hole (M2.5 size) that you can use to mount the case. The middle layer has names engraved to it so that you can identify parts easier. Very handy especially for beginners. There is also a special slot that you can fit a Pi Camera so that it will stand upright when the top lid is not used.
The mini cooling fan
This fan is mounted with 4 bolts on the inside of the top panel. You will need to use some basic tools. Mounting nuts and bolts for the fan are included. The position is direct above the main chip which is one of the most significant heat source from the Pi. With the fan mounted, there is still some space to attach a heatsink on the chip for better heat dissipation.
The fan requires 5V DC and you can power it up with the Pi's power header. There is a connector with two wires, red and black attached to the fan. The red wire is for 5V DC and you need to connect it to the pin number 4 and the black wire is for ground, to be connected to the pin number 6. For a clearer picture, please refer to the gallery.
This case is compatible with the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B only. Raspberry Pi board is not included.
