This is an official and genuine Arduino MEGA 2560 board, made by authorized manufacturer.
This is an enhanced Arduino board, designed for more complex project. It is powered by ATmega2560 microcontroller. The board has 54 digital I/O pins (15 pins can be used for PWM outputs), 16 analog inputs, a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connector, a DC power jack, an ICSP header and a reset button.
How do I power this board?
To power the board, you can connect it to a PC using a USB Type A to Type B cable. This is especially used when you want to upload your Arduino program to the board. Take note that in this mode, current draw is limited to around 500mA only.
Another way to power this board is using the a DC power supply such as wall plug or a battery connected to the DC barrel jack (5.5mm x 2.1mm, center positive). The DC barrel jack for Arduino MEGA can accept a wider range of voltage from 7V to 12V. This is our recommended power supply.
How do I program this board?
The Arduino MEGA can be programmed using the Arduino IDE.
