This is the kind of power supply that typically used in CCTV, access control or alarm system. It can be connected to an external Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) battery, functioning as a backup power to ensure uninterruptible operation in case of power failure. It accepts AC power input from the main and provide a 12V DC output. When the AC power is present, the power supply will charge the battery. When AC power is disconnected/interrupted, the battery will take over and supply 12V DC output. This AC and battery switching is seamless and does not require human intervention.
The external backup battery is not included.
