This 'brick' type power supply is bulkier than your average wall adapter but it surely packs more power! It can supply 5V DC with up to 4A current from 100-240V AC input.
The output connector is a 5.5mm x 2.5mm DC plug - a very common plug for electronics project. It also fits 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm jack without any problem.
This power supply can be used for powering devices that draws more current such as LED strips, LCD monitors or motors. Just be sure that the voltage meets the specification.
A power cord with 3-prong UK type plug is included. This cord can be detached from the body.
