This cable converts DC 5.5mm x 2.1mm female jack to 2-pin 2.50mm XH connector.
You can use this cable to power any device with XH power connector using a regular DC barrel plug power supply. We use this to power our SBC like the Raspberry Pi via the GPIO pins. The XH connector fits the 2.54mm pitch header very well.
Warning: Pay attention to the voltage connected and the polarity of the connector.
This is a center-positive cable. The center pin of the DC jack is connected to the red lead on the XH connector and the outer pin of the DC jack is connected to the white lead of the XH connector. In other words, with a common center positive power supply, be sure that the red lead connects to the positive terminal on your device and the white lead connects to the ground.
